The Oval Invincibles have won two on the spin to start their Hundred campaign. Their bowling attack was their strong point last year, and it has continued into this year. The pace of Saqib Mahmood and Mohammad Amir, allied to the leg-spin of Adam Zampa and Nathan Sowter, is a potent mixture against any batting team. Zampa and Sowter were outstanding in the most recent game against the Welsh Fire; in fact, Zampa won his second Meerkat Match Hero prize in a row.

Their bowlers have been upfront in claiming key wickets and, more so, often restricting opponents to chasing-type scores. The batting has been patchy, but Tawanda Muyeye and Sam Billings have shown flashes of brilliance that have helped them win games. Contributions from Donovan Ferreira and Sam Curran in the second game were important, too, in stitching the middle order.

They have been brilliant at wresting momentum and earning an upper hand from their opponents' mistakes, as different players have risen to the occasion and turned in match-winning performances whenever needed.

Will Jacks, Dawid Malan, Tawanda Muyeye, Sam Billings, capt & wk, Sam Curran, Donovan Ferreira, Tom Lammonby, Nathan Sowter, Adam Zampa, Saqib Mahmood, Spencer Johnson.

The Northern Superchargers have won one and lost one heavily in the Hundred's first two matches. Their batting has been a joy at times with Nicholas Pooran getting off to an explosive start against Southern Brave. Harry Brook also batted steadily, partnering Pooran well and finishing things off while chasing. Other than these brilliant performances, though, the batting has been a bit of a yo-yo for the Superchargers—evidenced by the woes against the Trent Rockets. Much of the bowling is dependent on Adil Rashid, who looks the constant in most of their games, getting those crucial middle-order batsmen out of the way with his spin. Matthew Short has failed to get into his rhythm so far but will do damage with bat and ball. Their bowling attack, on paper, looks good but needs to be able to sustain the consistency to be able to take on the best teams in the competition. A team like this can be a strong contender for the overall championship but needs to put in a collective effort with the bat and ball to progress deep into the tournament.

Matt Short, Graham Clark, Nicholas Pooran, Harry Brook, Adam Hose, Ollie Robinson, Mitchell Santner, Jordan Clark, Matthew Potts, Adil Rashid, Callum Parkinson.

Oval Invincibles' bowlers are in great form, and hence the team can be considered to be the most likely to win this match provided their batting lineup does well and they are able to post a good total on the board. With this scenario kept in mind, we're going to predict Oval Invincibles as the winner in this upcoming clash.
