The batting strength in the lineup would have to depend on their in-form captain Chamari Athapaththu, opening batter Vishmi Gunaratne, Harshitha Madavi, wicket-keeper Anushka Sanjeewani, and Kavisha Dilhari.

In the last outing, skipper Athapaththu was at her scintillating best, striking the fastest hundred ever in the history of the Women's Asia Cup. She scored unbeaten 119 runs from 69 balls, hitting fourteen fours and seven sixes. Contributions also came from wicket-keeper Anushka Sanjeewani, who struck 31 runs from 24 balls, and Harshitha Samarawickrama, who struck 26 runs off 23 balls with five fours.

The bowling attack will definitely bank on Shashini Gimhani, Inoshi Priyadharshini, Kawya Kavindi, Kavishka Dilhari, and Sachini Nisansala to come good.

In the previous game, Shashini Gimhani spearheaded the bowling attack by picking up three wickets and came out as the best performer. Both Kavishka Dilhari and Kawya Kavindi did a decent job, bagging two wickets each.

The Thailand women's team was not able to build a strong innings in their last game and made only 96 runs for the loss of nine wickets over their 20-over quota. Opener Nattaya Boochatham was at the helm of affairs with 40 runs off 41 balls with four boundaries. Suleeporn Laomi also chipped in 17 runs off 13 balls coupled with two boundaries. Rosenan Kanoh remained not out with 13 runs off just nine balls.

In the bowling department, Onnicha Kamchomphu, Thipatcha Putthawong, Nattaya Boochatham, Chanida Sutthiruang, Suleeporn Laomi, and Phannita Maya will be expected to deliver vital wickets. In the team's last outing, both Phannita Maya and skipper Thipatcha Putthawong bowled well and recorded a wicket apiece.
