Asia's top telecom industry awards launched
Online nominations open now - two new BlackBerry Curves to be won!
Hong Kong, February 4, 2008 - Asia's longest-running and most prestigious telecom industry awards are once more underway with the launch of the annual Telecom Asia Awards.
The Awards, now in their 11th year, are aimed at recognizing outstanding performance by the region's telecom service providers and industry executives.
Online nominations are open now at www.telecomasia.net/awards08. Each person who makes a nomination will be eligible for a lucky draw to win one of two BlackBerry Curve devices.
Winners will be chosen from more than 100 fixed, mobile, convergence and virtual telecom operators from around the region, Telecom Asia Group Editor Joseph Waring announced today.
Mr Waring said this year's categories included two new Awards: Best New Mobile Application and Best New Enterprise Service or Application.
The awards are chosen from a shortlist of candidates nominated by Telecom Asia readers and editors.
