Telstra subsidiary Sensishas agreed to buy News Limited's online directory business TrueLocal. The deal is subject to approval from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. If the deal gets green light, TrueLocal will be part of Sensis’ Yellow Pages network and will continue to operate in its current form. TrueLocal general manager Simon Carson and the rest of the management team will continue to lead the business, Telstra said.

Telenor has awarded Huawei a three-year contract to deploy LTE-ready E-band and full outdoor IP microwave backhaul across its mobile operations. Telenor, which has operations in India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia and Pakistan as well as in central and eastern Europe, plans to deploy LTE networks on a large scale.
