CBS' digital division would buy Wallstrip, a website that produces a daily show and blogs about financial news, for an undisclosed amount, according to a Reuters report.
The Reuters report said the Wallstrip show, which is a mix of humor and finance, launched six months ago and has started to build an audience of financial professionals and business students.
'CBS recognizes that original web content, whether it's news, sports or entertainment, is starting to show real traction with audiences, producers and advertisers,' CBS Interactive president Quincy Smith was quoted as saying.
