NTT DoCoMo has bought multimedia software firmPacketVideo from NextWave Wireless, agreeing to pay $111.6 million for the 65% it didn’t already own. The Japanese carrier – which acquired 35% of PacketVideo in July 2009 - expects the deal to close by September 30.
