The ICS-200 Iridium Communications System from the International Communications Group (ICG) has received a supplemental type certificate (STC) for all installations onboard the Learjet 60.
Available through Aero-Dienst, a European distributor of ICG products, the STC received certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the European Union's civil aviation regulatory body.
The ICS-200 incorporates dual Iridium transceivers with an internal CTU and permits connections of conventional telephony devices or legacy CTU systems through either standard two-wire "tip and ring" circuits or four-wire audio connections.
CTU features include intercom calling, call transfer, conferencing and follow-on dialing.
