Communist Party of India [CPI] rebels have instigated more attacks against the Indian state of Bihar, blowing up another two cellphone towers.
Towers in the villages of Kataki and Aurangabad were targeted.
This makes five towers CPI has attacked in the past two weeks - last week three towers in the Gaya district came under fire.
CPI is suspected to be conducting the attacks in an attempt to avoid being traced by Indian police. Several high-profile members were recently tracked down and arrested using this method.
The CPI rebels follow the Maoist school of communism. It is an underground branch of the Communist Party of India, a registered political party.
The rebels are commonly known as Naxalites, in reference to a violent insurrection the group led in the village of Naxalbari.
