US campaigners are calling for children's toy maker Fisher Price to stop selling a baby seat with a built in iPad holder.

Just over 13,000 people have signed an e-petition demanding the $80 Newborn-to-Toddler Apptivity Seat is withdrawn from sale. The petition was set up by the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, which claims the seat can stymie children's natural development by denying them vital social interactions.

Quite what the group will make of the iPotty - a product combining a potty with an iPad holder - is anyone's guess.
