ITEM [via Ars Technica]: Apps developer Vui Huang Tea has come up with an IPTV portal for the Nintendo Wii.
Users could access the portal via the Wii Web browser, and use the sensor function of the remote to navigate the EPG, among other things.

Tea told Ars Technica he hopes the demo "could spur real support for IPTV on the Wii." And why not‾ Nintendo is the last major game console maker without an IPTV strategy, after this week's launch of the Xbox 360 with Mediaroom. Sony's PS3 has been IPTV-ready since October.Game on!
