Motorola announced a partnership with consulting firm M-Skylink in opening its first Wimax interoperability lab n Taiwan.
Through this lab, Motorola said it will conduct interoperability tests between its Wimax products and upcoming devices from Taiwanese manufacturers.
The project likewise supports Motorola's Wimax deployments in the Taiwan and other countries in the region, the company said.
The lab will also provide validation services for Wimax customer premises products and mobile devices that are being considered for purchase by Wimax infrastructure customers.
Motorola has already announced several Wimax deployments and partnerships in Taiwan.
