Total PON equipment revenues hit an all-time high in the third quarter, growing 8% sequentially and 6% year-on-year, according to Dell'Oro Group.
“GPON revenue growth was strongest, driven by the increasing deployments outside of North America,” said president Tam Dell’Oro.
The leading vendors was Huawei, which increased its lead in the EPON segment and overtook Alcatel-Lucent in the GPON segment.
