Airspan has announced its new MiMAX range of mobile Wimax subscriber devices designed for high-capacity Internet connectivity.
These are built on earlier MiMAX USB subscriber station, the first and only quad-band Wimax device, according to Airspan, that has achieved WiMAX Forum Wave II certification last June.
The new MiMAX indoor and outdoor devices include features such as single or dual VoIP ports, integrated router and WiFi options, and are available in single-band configurations in the 2- to 3-GHz frequency range.
Samples for all devices are available now, with production quantities planned for the fourth quarter of 2008, according to Airspan.
