StarHub has launched an enhanced mobile TV application on major smartphone platforms such as Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile.
The launch is in partnership with several handset vendors, including Acer, HTC, LG, Motorola, Research in Motion, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.
It will be made available on other platforms – iPhone and Nokia Symbian - by the first quarter of this year.
“Fast TV channel switching, integrated TV guide and program reminders are some of the cable TV features that we are bringing to mobile devices,” said Chan Kin Hung, head of products and solutions at StarHub.
