Vanina de Verneuil joins Global Cloud Xchange as general counsel
Global Cloud Xchange has appointed Vanina de Verneuil as general counsel. In her new role, de Verneuil will serve on the company’s executive leadership team assuming responsibility for global corporate and legal affairs.
de Verneuil has over 10 years of experience representing corporate and financial institutions on a variety of capital markets and M&A transactions. She has led award-winning transactions in the government sector as well as for social media and OTT companies.
Prior to joining Global Cloud Xchange, de Verneuil was a senior corporate lawyer at Shearman & Sterling LLP in Paris, Hong Kong and Beijing. She began her legal career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York.
Brocade appoints Greater China head
Brocade has hired Eric Yu to the newly created position of vice president for Greater China. He will be responsible for accelerate the company’s market leadership and business growth in software networking with partners across the region spanning China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
Yu will be based in Beijing, China, and report to Brocade VP for Asia Pacific, Adam Judd.
Yu comes to Brocade with over two decades of specialized industry experience from the data center networking industry. Most recently he worked as VP for Greater China at Juniper Networks, and before that as regional sales manager for service providers at Cisco Taiwan.
