Two new studies by Network Strategy Partners show that traffic-related solutions in Carrier Ethernet networks reduce total cost of ownership over a five-year study period as compared to first-generation networks.
According to the studies, TCO is reduced compared to first-generation Carrier Ethernet networks through traffic engineering, resource management, and traffic management solutions provided by Gridpoint Systems.
Specifically, TCO as compared to first-generation networks is 38% lower for the retail business model and 31% lower for wholesale.
