Cisco beat estimates for its fiscal fourth quarter with a 40 cent per share profit, and a 3.3% increase in sales to $11.2 billion.
MOSAID files patent suit against networking giants
Patent licensing company MOSAID has filed a patent suit against Alcatel-Lucent, IBM, Adobe, Juniper, NetApp, Red Hat and VMWare over networking server patents it acquired earlier this year. The company is also now offering to sell handset makers a “covenant not to sue” over infringement patents related to emergency call features.
