India's telecom tribunal, TDSAT, has overturned an order from the Department of Telecom to impose penalties on Idea Cellular for allegedly missing the operator's rollout obligations, stating that the company was not given a chance to present its case.

A Chinese court has refused to hear an attempted lawsuit by Apple over the use of the iPad name by China's Proview Technology. Legal documents in the case reportedly show that Proview legally registered the name iPad in China in 2000.
