Wireless tech turns dress invisible

Wireless and other consumer electronic kits have never been deployed in such a revealing way as in a dress that turns transparent when the wearer is aroused.

The Intimacy 2.0 dress, by Dutch designer Daan Roosegaarde, uses wireless tech, electronics, LEDs and good old-fashioned copper to complete the transformation. The process is triggered by increased electrical energy from rising heartbeats, hence the association to arousal.

However, while the designer is in talks with manufacturers, most women don't seem too enamored with the idea of a see-through dress that reveals their emotions. The majority say it is probably best left in the Chinese museum where it is currently on display.
