YouTube will next week launch YouTube Red, a new membership that lets users enjoy videos across all of YouTube without ads.

The service, which costs $9.99 a month, also lets users users save videos to watch offline on phones or tablet and play videos in the background. Viewers in the United States can try YouTube Red for free with a one month trial.

Membership in YouTube Red extends across devices, including the recently launched Gaming app and a brand new YouTube Music app that will be available soon.

YouTube Music is designed to make discovering, watching and listening to music much easier. Viewers sign in, tap a track they like, and see where the music takes them.

YouTube Red works with Google Play Music, so subscribing to one automatically enables access to the other.

Starting in early 2016, YouTube Red will offer member-only access to new, original shows and movies from some of YouTube’s biggest creators, the company said in a blog post..

“We’re working to bring YouTube Red and our YouTube Music, Gaming and Kids apps to more countries soon.”

The ad-free streaming service will launch on October 29.
