Two exciting prospects battle in the prelims of UFC in London in a Flyweight matchup between young British-Russian Muhammad Mokaev and LFA champion Charles Johnson. The LFA Flyweight champion will finally make his UFC debut at 31 years old after trying to get a contract for a while. Taking the LFA championship off Yuma Horiuchi in July 2021, “InnerG” has successfully defended the title twice, including a fifth-round stoppage win over Carlos Mota last January at LFA 122.
Johnson at 31 is a veteran mixed martial artist and boxer. He is currently on a 4-match streak. Primarily a Striker, his punching is his best weapon and he boasts a lot of power which he can carry into the latter rounds. He is also willing to stalk his opponent around the Octagon. His main weakness will be his poor take-down defense.
