VanZant faced her compatriot Rachael Ostovich in her last fight, held in July 2021 in the Bare Knuckle FC fist-fighting league. In that match, Paige was defeated by unanimous decision.
VanZant and Ostovich had previously met in a mixed martial arts bout in January 2019 at UFC Fight Night 143. Paige won that fight by submission in the second round.
