The home of Newcastle's Brazilian midfielder Joelinton was burglarized during the last home match of the 21st matchday of the English Premier League against Manchester City.
The player learned about the robbery from a notification on his phone, informing the police about three unknown men in his house. Newcastle lost 2-3 at home to Manchester City in the EPL match.

Police were deployed to the scene however, those alleged to be involved had fled the scene. Enquires remain ongoing.
Joelinton has been playing for Newcastle since 2019. The midfielder played 178 matches with the Magpies in all tournaments, scoring 25 goals.
