The main time of the meeting ended in a 0-0 draw. In the extra 30 minutes the teams hit each other's goal once each. Neymar scored for Brazil and Bruno Petković for Croatia. In the penalty shootout the Croats turned out to be stronger - 4-2. Zlatko Dalić's team will play in the semifinals against Argentina.
