Al Hilal and Brazil striker Neymar, who started his professional career at Santos, supported his hometown club after their relegation from the elite division of Brazilian football.
The club failed to keep their place in Serie A for the first time in 111 years, finishing 17th out of 20 places in the standings of the last season of the local championship.

Earlier it was reported that Al Hilal intend to suspend the contract with the star Brazilian because of the injury.
Neymar played for Santos from 2009 to 2013, later moving to Barcelona. In his home club, the forward won the Libertadores Cup and the Brazilian Cup.
