Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has produced his worst goalless streak since 2011. The 35-year-old Polish forward has failed to score in six consecutive matches for Barcelona.
Robert Lewandowski moved to Barcelona from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022. In the 2022/2023 season, the Pole played 44 matches for Barcelona in all competitions, where he scored 33 goals and made eight assists. In September 2023 Lewandowski set a record for the players of Blaugrana in the new century. The Polish striker broke the mark of 35 goals scored in 50 matches for the team.
The current agreement of the player with the club is valid until the end of June 2026. Transfermarkt website estimates the player's value at €30 million.
On Tuesday, November 7, Barcelona sensationally lost in the match of the 4th round of Group H of the Champions League to Ukrainian Shakhtar. The meeting ended with a score of 1:0. Head coach Xavi called it one of the worst matches since he took charge of the team.
