Renowned American writer Stephen King reacted to the ban on beer sales at 2022 World Cup stadiums in Qatar.

If you can't go to a World Cup game without a beer, you might have a problem.

The International Federation of Association Football Associations (FIFA) announced a ban on beer sales at World Cup 2022 stadiums on Nov. 18. As BristolPost reported earlier, a glass of beer will cost 14 euros. Moreover, Qatar has introduced restrictions on the sale of beer to fans - no more than four glasses per person.

The 22nd FIFA World Cup starts on November 20 with the match between Qatar and Ecuador. The meeting will begin at 16:00 GMT.
