Former UFC lightweight title challenger American Ray Borg has signed a contract with Bellator. Borg is scheduled to make his promotion debut this year.
Borg had his last fight against his compatriot Ricky Bandejas in March, 2022, at the Ricky Bundejas tournament. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in Ray's favor by a split decision of the judges.
Borg last competed in the UFC in May 2020. Then he suffered a split decision loss to his compatriot Ricky Simon. Ray has 16 wins and five losses under his belt.
