Former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor has announced that his fight with Michael Chandler will be in the welterweight division.
Recall that Chandler and McGregor will fight after the end of the TUF 31 reality show, where the fighters appear as coaches.

McGregor had his last fight against American Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. In this confrontation, Conor was defeated by TKO as a result of a broken leg. He has 22 wins and six losses under his belt.
Chandler made his last appearance against the same Poirier in November, 2022, at UFC 281. That fight ended in a third-round choke loss to Michael. He has 23 wins and eight losses under his belt.
