Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou talked about his attitude towards the promotion's current champion Jon Jones.
MMA Mania quotes Ngannou as saying:
I don’t think Jon Jones is trying to take something from me. I think Jon Jones is just part of the system that I stood up against and that he at some point was trying to stand in my way until they weren’t in my way anymore.
Ngannou last fought against Ciryl Gane in January 2022 at UFC 270. In this confrontation Francis won by unanimous decision of judges. He has 17 wins and three losses on his record.
Jones last entered the octagon against Ciryl Gane in March of this year at UFC 285. Jones won that fight by first-round submission and won the heavyweight championship belt. He has 27 wins and one loss on his record.
