Russian UFC heavyweight fighter Sergei Pavlovich has named the reason for his only loss in mixed martial arts.
Pavlovich suffered the only defeat of his career in a fight with Alistair Overeem in November 2018 in the UFC. Sergei lost by a technical knockout in the first round.

Pavlovich had his latest fight against Tai Tuivasa in December 2022 at UFC on ESPN 42. In that fight Sergei won by knockout in the first round. He has 17 wins and one loss under his belt.
