Suzuki Knocks Out Patricio Freire At Super Rizin 2 Tournament

On July 30 at the Super Rizin 2 tournament at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, Bellator featherweight champion Brazilian Patricio Freire fought against Japanese Chihiro Suzuki.

The fight ended with Suzuki winning by knockout in the first round.

Freire, 36, had his last fight against Sergio Pettis in June of this year at Bellator 297. In this confrontation Patricio was defeated by unanimous decision of judges. He has 35 wins and seven losses on his record.

Suzuki, 24, last fought against Kleber Koike Erbst in June of this year at Rizin 43. That bout ended in no contest. He has 11 wins and three losses on his record.
