American top mixed martial arts promotion UFC published its ranking of the best fighters of the year 2022.
The leader of the list is Alex Volkanovski, the Australian featherweight champion. Brazilian Alex Pereira, who owns the middleweight belt, is in second place. Rounding out the top three is Russian lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
