UFC heavyweight champion, American fighter Jon Jones, commented on the news that he threatened an officer of the anti-doping agency Drug Free Sport while under the influence of alcohol.

According to ABQ RAW, the officer arrived at Jones' house to take a doping sample but found the fighter drunk. Jones did not let him take the test, grabbed their phone and made death threats.

Jones wrote on social media:

There is a video showing both drug testers leaving my home after the testing session, where we exchanged a high five and a hug. Although I was frustrated with the unprofessionalism and used profanity out of frustration it ended friendly and amicably, nothing threatening at all. I was actually celebrating a friend's birthday party at my home, and I believe it's perfectly normal. I must say, this particular tester behaved quite unprofessionally and even breached standard protocol.

Jones, 36, faced Frenchman Ciryl Gane in his last fight, which took place in March 2023 at UFC 285.

In that confrontation, Jon won by submission (guillotine choke) in the first round and claimed the UFC heavyweight championship belt. He has 27 wins and one loss on his record.
