The UFC promotion has decided to postpone the title fight in the featherweight division between Australian Alexander Volkanovski and Georgian fighter Ilia Topuria to February. This was reported by journalist Ariel Helwani.
The original plan for that main was Volkanovski x Topuria, but now the plan is for that to be on the February PPV.

Volkanovski, 35, rematched Islam Makhachev for the lightweight championship belt on October 21 at UFC 294. This confrontation ended with the victory of the Russian fighter by knockout in the first round. Volkanovski has 26 wins and three losses on his record.
Topuria, 26, last stepped into the octagon in June 2023 at UFC on ABC 5, defeating Josh Emmett by unanimous decision. He has 14 wins and no losses on his record.
