Atlanta Braves vs New York Mets Prediction: Can Mets Bounce Back?

Going in the third game of the series, Atlanta Braves will look to make most of the opportunity coming their way as they look to sweep the series with the third consecutive win. Moving ahead, the Mets, on the other hand, will try to bounce back hard at the opposition and give them a chance to draw the game. Though New York Mets were coming off a back-to-back wins against Philadelphia Phillies, they haven’t been on their best game. Going in the upcoming game, both sides will look to win, creating more opportunities for themselves.

With an unbeaten run in the last five games, Atlanta Braves look as favorites to continue the unbeaten run. In the last game, the Braves were on song as they won 5-0 against the Mets. Matt Olson and Robbie Grossman were able to convert 5 RBIs between them. Talking about the pitchers, Charlie Morton, Dylan Lee, and A.J Minter were quite decent as they restricted the opposition. Going in the game, Atlanta Braves will look to back its pitcher to restrict the Mets to the least score. 

Going in the game, New York Mets will look to take its chances and get the series at 2-1. In the previous two games, the Mets lost to Braves 5-0 and 13-1, which have slightly dented their overall progress and past game consistency in the league. New York Mets stand 1st in NL East with a 7-3 win-loss record. In the last game, Brandon Nimmo, and Daniel Vogelbach managed to produce a start; however, no such player was able to build on it.
