Washington Nationals vs Miami Marlins Prediction: Can Nationals Bounce Back?

Washington Nationals will be up against the Miami Marlins in the upcoming fixture of the MLB schedule. Going in the game, Miami Marlins will be the favorites as they managed to defeat the home side quite comprehensively in the first opening game of the series. Both teams had a pretty decent start in the first two innings, but they lost the momentum as the game proceeded. Now, all eyes will be on Miami’s performance for the upcoming game. 

Washington Nationals aren’t in good shape as they have lost three back-to-back games in the past 3 days. Though they were coming off a series win against the Pirates, they couldn’t capitalize much on the opportunity and momentum favoring them. After losing 3-6 in the first game, they lost another game by 3-5. In the last game, Tres Barrera and Juan Soto were able to pick RBIs in total. In the pitching corner, Steve Cishek was able to get 2 strikeouts, with other pitchers chipping in with 1 strikeout each. Nationals will look to win and play for respect and dignity in the upcoming game.

Miami Marlins was coming off a defeat against St. Louis Cardinals and weren’t expected to deliver against Nationals in the away fixture. Marlins somehow managed to defy the odds and win back-to-back games in the series. Marlins depend on their pitchers, who provide a decent platform for other batters to flourish and play freely. Jesus Aguilar and Avisail Garcia were simply stand out in the previous game, getting 2 RBIs each. Daniel Castano will try to keep his amazing form intact and win the last game for the Marlins.

Going in the game, I will be backing Miami Marlins to win and sweep the series 3-0. Like the first two games, the game score is expected to be kept under 10, and the Marlins to score over 5.
