Boston Celtics vs Orlando Magic Prediction: Will the Magic once again fail to compete with the East leader?

Jayson Tatum was traditionally the highest scorer for Boston, with 30 points. Payton Pritchard scored 21 points off the bench.

The Celtics confirmed their top class and, perhaps, status as the main contender to win the Eastern Conference.

On the other hand, the Magic showed that it's too early to write them off as contenders. The fact that the team couldn't even fight against the Celtics is not indicative of that. The difference of -17 points resulted from poor shooting from the field - less than 50% and a huge number of turnovers - 21 on 25 assists.

Orlando is now 16-8 overall. The Magic are fourth in the Eastern Conference, but to maintain their position in the top 6, a direct playoff spot, they still have a lot of work to do.

Both Porzingis and Horford will already be playing for Boston in the upcoming game, so anything other than a confident Celtics victory is unlikely to be expected here. The team looks unquestionably the strongest in the East, but they're also in good shape. Let's bet on Boston.
