Milwaukee Bucks vs Chicago Bulls Prediction: The Bulls will fight back against their opponents

Milwaukee and Chicago have largely resolved all their issues, and their head-to-head encounter is unlikely to affect their position in the standings. The Bucks could already guarantee themselves the conference lead, but the Bulls' chances of any kind of promotion are minimal.

The Bucks lost to Boston, but throughout five games, that loss was their only one, and Milwaukee has all but secured first place in the NL East due to their regular-season stats. Right now, the most important thing for the club is to motivate their core and rest their leaders for the playoffs. Chris Middleton might not play against Chicago, and it's unlikely that Javon Carter, Grayson Allen, and Pat Connaughton will be on the floor. Jay Crowder was in the starting five last games, and we're unlikely to see him again.

The team beat Washington 140:128 last game. Crowder made four 3-pointers, Brook Lopez had a nice run, and Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday combined for 54 points. The bench helped out nicely, too: Bobby Portis, Joe Ingles, and Bobby Portis combined for 12 three-pointers, and they were primarily responsible for over half of the team's long-range attempts that night. As for other stats, it is worth noting that Holiday and Antetokounmpo had ten assists each, and Lopez had five blocked shots.

The Bulls are already in the playoff, but it's unlikely they'll be able to climb any higher. They are two wins behind 9th place, and it would be virtually impossible to overcome that handicap in three games. The main thing is that the team made a decisive breakthrough, and three losses in five previous games so far are not that troubling. Chicago has noticeably improved on defense, and the back line is particularly impressive. Patrick Beverley and Alex Caruso are the starting five. All three of them made just 2 of 13 three-pointers, though, and with those numbers, it would be difficult to count on a game against such an opponent as Atlanta.

Milwaukee is struggling defensively with any squad, although it will be more challenging without players like Jevon Carter. It's too early to tell if all of the Bucks' starters will play - Yannis, for example, could be rested. The Bulls have become more aggressive with Patrick Beverley, and there is little doubt that the team has guaranteed a playoff spot thanks to the tenacious guard. The total declared today was not broken in the previous meeting between the Bulls and their opponents, and we expect something similar now.
