SAC Kings vs PHX Suns Prediction: Will the Suns beat Sacramento?

The Kings faced New Orleans yesterday and once again failed to show balanced basketball. Mike Brown's team attacked well, but allowed the opponent to do almost anything they wanted on their end of the floor. The result was 123:135. For Sacramento, this was their sixth loss in the last nine games.

After such a disappointing stretch, the Kings let Golden State slip ahead, dropping to ninth place in the Western Conference standings. If things stay that way, Sacramento will have to win two games in the play-in, with no margin for error.

The Suns are unlikely to drop below seventh place, but they can go higher. If the team beats Sacramento and New Orleans loses to Golden State in the same game, Phoenix will be ahead of them, as the Suns have a one-game lead over the Pelicans.

Phoenix would probably be considered the clear favorite in the upcoming game, and now even more so, as Sacramento will have a back-to-back after an extremely difficult matchup with New Orleans. At least Kevin Durant and company don't look like underdogs in the race for the top-6 with New Orleans.
