Soslan Asbarov vs Joel Shojgreen Prediction: No Chance for an American

On December 25, a Hardcore Boxing tournament will take place at the CSKA Arena in Moscow. The main event will be a duel between the undefeated Russian fistfighter Soslan Asbarov and American boxer Joel Shojgreen.

Soslan Asbarov is the champion of the Hardcore league in bare-knuckle fights with no defeats. He fights technically and wins confidently; the head of the promotion Anatoly Sulyanov calls him the dominant champion.

Soslan came from boxing, where he achieved considerable success as an amateur. He has about 250 amateur duels and the title of Master of Sports of International Class. He slowly returns to the roots and alternates bare-knuckle fights with boxing matches. This year, Asbarov held three boxing confrontations, and in each of them, he won on points – against Oleg Fomichev, Islam Zhangorazov, and Dmitry Kudryashov.

This is a veteran boxer (he is already 40 years old) from the USA who had nothing remarkable in his career (except for the title of champion of some third-rate organization). Throughout his professional career in boxing, which, by the way, cannot be called long, he beat the journeymen, but he won, however, almost always by knockouts.

It is impossible to imagine that a little-known elderly American would make at least some competition with the Russian champion. But there is no need to expect a knockout here, either. Asbarov understands perfectly well that Shoigrin has a punch. His main task will be maintaining concentration and not getting hit by this beater. For everything else, you can be calm. Soslan will outbox the opponent and not get too tired.
