Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Prediction: No Doubt in Fury

On October 28, Saudi Arabia will host a boxing match that no one thought was possible. World boxing champion Tyson Fury will share the ring with UFC champion Francis Ngannou.

Tyson Fury is a British heavyweight boxer, undefeated WBC world champion, who has won all his victories in dominant style (the vast majority by knockout). He has been outstanding in his last four bouts, first knocking out Deontay Wilder twice in a row, then Dillian Whyte, and after all serious opposition was over, he knocked out Dereck Chisora.

Francis Ngannou was the UFC mixed martial arts heavyweight champion but left the league searching for a better deal. He ended his UFC career with six straight wins, five by knockout. Only in his very last fight did he defeat Cyril Gane by submission.

Frankly, no chance for Ngannou but he's good. He did what he wanted to do, even though many people laughed at him when he left the UFC. He'll make more money in one boxing fight than in five fights in the UFC. Ngannou has done everything. This is not a legacy fight. He wanted to make money, and won when many leagues turned their backs on him.

A puncher always has a chance, but in this case, those chances are slim to none because he's stepping into the boxing ring. An MMA puncher and a boxer are two different athletes. He won't be able to deliver his powerful punches with boxing gloves. Ngannou's primary weapon will work differently than it was used to.

Fury won't finish the fight in the opening rounds. He will work for the crowd and wait five or six for the crowd to cheer. Tyson knows how to put on a show. In the second half, he will crush his opponent. He can goof around initially, and then he'll get into it. Fury is a professional and very unconventional. He can beat Ngannou's upper body in the first rounds and tease him on the ropes. In the second half of the fight, he will get an early victory.

Fury can only lose if he prepares for fights like Alexander Emelianenko. So anyone can lose, but he is a professional boxer who will prepare with all the sparring and will work as a professional should. We didn't see that with Fury. He had a break, after which his body got into a dead state. But he cleaned up and took the extra weight off. So there's no chance. We do not rule out some kind of underestimation, but definitely, his boxing skills are still something to be afraid of.
