Australia vs. Pakistan: Pakistan Hoping to Make a Comeback and Level the Series

After getting defeated in the first game, Pakistan would be looking to come back strong and level the series at 1-1. In the first game, Pakistan lost their lead pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi and top spinner Shadab Khan. Their unavailability definitely dented Pakistan’s performance. They conceded over 300 runs, courtesy of some masterful striking from Travis Head and Chris Green. For the upcoming ODI, Pakistan might play with some changes and strengthen its middle order.

Australia has always emphasized quality instead of quantity, and that’s the reason why they are producing quality players. In the first game, Travis Head took every Pakistan bowler to the cleaners and struck a scintillating hundred. After that, Pakistan could never recover or get back on song. In the bowling card, Adam Zampa and Travis Head were among the pick of the bowlers. Australia would certainly be the favorite of winning the second ODI.

Babar Azam got few runs from the bat, but overall, they lacked the chasing spirit as their middle-order crumbled in no time.
