Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: Chennai to continue their bad form against a resilient Bangalore

There are fireworks whenever these two teams meet in IPL, no matter the position at the table. The south Indian rivals go head to head in the 22nd game of the Indian Premier League. When Chennai will be looking for their first win in the campaign, RCB will be looking to extend their winning run in the competition and show the exit door to the defending champions.

Chennai's season has gone from bad to worst. They are winless in their first four games and their shoulder seems to have dropped. This is the first season since 2010 when they have lost consecutive four games. They will be looking for hope from somewhere. The batting has been abysmal and the bowling has followed. This will be Chennai's last hope of turning this season around for good.

RCB have had a pretty good season until now with them winning three out of their first four games. They are sitting comfortably in the third position. The addition of hard hitters like Glen Maxwell has strengthened their batting and fielding as well. Having said that they might be without their star bowler Harshal Patel who might be out due to family issues. The Royals will be looking to strengthen their position on the top half of the table.
