India completely changed its side in the ODI series and the players who were rested came back in full flow. Rohit and Gill score half-centuries each in the game and gave a brilliant start in Guwahati. Virat Kohli again stole the show scoring his 73rd ton for India. India was impressive in the batting department scoring 373 in the allotted 50 overs. Indian bowling also made sure to tame down Sri Lankan lions. India will be looking for a complete performance once again to win the series in style.

Sri Lankan batting is doing fairly well but it's the bowler who is being hit all around the park. Hasaranga was wicketless in the first game and he will be looking to bounce back strongly to make an impact. Given Eden garden helps spinners, Hasaranga and Theekshana can have a great time here. Sri Lanka will be looking for a cohesive performance to tie the series.
