West Indies vs. England: Both Teams Looking to Win and Go Up in the Series

England has demonstrated some great temperament and skill in the first test match after getting beaten by pace on offer in the first innings. Talking about both teams and their gameplay attitude, England might have struggled against a quality West Indian lineup, but their reply in the second innings was just phenomenal. Though the match ended in a draw, it had quite to offer for both sides as they looked to outclass the opposition. Moving on with the series, for the second test match at Bridgetown, Barbados, both teams would be looking to play with courage and, more importantly, pick the right side before the game. Both captains would be hoping to start capitalizing on opportunities coming their way.

After losing to Australia in the Ashes series, England has certainly made a few peculiar changes in their approach and team lineup. With young openers and middle-order batsmen, England is confident to give chances to the youngsters. With the likes of Jonny Bairstow and Zak Crawley in the side, England is certainly on top of their game. Talking about England’s second innings performance, Joe Root was top of his game, scoring dashing 109 runs off 209 balls. England is looking for a well-settled group of individuals who are thirsty for runs coming their way. Going in the second test match, England would be hoping that Ben Stokes continues playing as he did in the first game.
