Alan Tabern – Not Willing to Give It Easy

Tabern, a left-hander, made his PDC World Championship debut in 2006, defeating Alex Roy. Mark Dudbridge defeated him in the second round. Tabern advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship, but was defeated 0–5 by eventual winner Raymond van Barneveld.

Tabern was defeated 265–169, with only one of his nine darts hitting triple 20 and three others landing in five or one bed, compared to Hamilton's four treble 20s from six darts.

Co Stompé eliminated Tabern in the second round of the 2009 PDC World Championship. He lost again in the second round the following year, this time 3–4 to Mark Dudbridge, who had missed six darts to win. Tabern missed six match darts against Mark Walsh in the second round of the 2011 event.

Tabern reclaimed his tour card for 2018–2019 on the second day of the 2018 Q School in Wigan, defeating Steven Kirkby in the final 5–1.

Josh Payne – Excited to Secure Another Win Under His Name

After qualifying through the Pro Tour Order of Merit, Payne won his first World Championship in 2017. In the opening set, he defeated Terry Jenkins. He went behind 2–1 and missed one dart to tie the game, ultimately losing 3–1.

Payne's tour card expired at the end of the 2021 season, necessitating requalification at the PDC Q school. In his effort, he was unsuccessful, winning only one point, which was insufficient to earn him a two-year tour card.

Payne won his first PDC Challenge Tour championship in 2013, defeating Rowby-John Rodriguez in the final 4–3. He also qualified for the Gibraltar Darts Trophy, where he overcame Wayne Jones 6–2, only to lose 6–1 to Dave Chisnall in the second round despite averaging 100.50.
