FaZe has reached their fifth consecutive CS2 S-tournament final! The team defeated Heroic (2-0) and G2 Esports (2-1) on their way to the deciding match at BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 and had a tough match against MOUZ (2-0) in the semifinals.

Frozen could fully replace Twistzz on the team, even though he plays mostly rain as a Canadian. The Slovakian is in the top 10 of the HLTV individual rankings with a 1.13 and also deals 78 damage per round. FaZe's success now comes more from individual actions, with one of the players scoring a multi-kill in 9 out of 10 rounds. At the BLAST World Finals, Karrigan had an ace, and every member made triple and quad kills. FaZe performs 5x4 situations at an excellent level (81%), has a positive win rate on pistol rounds (8-6), and always secures the advantage.

The last final against Team Vitality went poorly. On the first map, it was destroyed, and on the second map, FaZe didn't make it out of the decisive rounds. The confrontation with Team Vitality has always been very important for Karrigan and the company, and considering their poor record in 2023, FaZe will try to correct the statistics at the end of the year.

Team Vitality has won four out of five finals this year: the fiasco came at the Spring BLAST finals against Heroic. In their victorious finals, the team usually won with a shutout, giving their opponent no chance. In 2023, Team Vitality won four out of five games against FaZe. All the statistics clearly show that Team ZywOo will end the year on a high note.

Both teams had a good tournament and showed that they deserved to be in the finals. But FaZe has traditionally had problems with Team Vitality, and with the substitutions, it will be even more difficult to play against them.
