BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 is one of the seasonal stages of the BLAST Premier League. There are no qualifiers for this tournament. Only twelve invited teams will compete for $177,500 in prize money. But the grand prize will be a quota for the next stage, the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, awarded to the first through sixth place teams in this tournament.

The format of Fall Groups 2022 is unique and does not replicate any of the previous tournaments. The championship will be held in three stages: the group stage, the "knockout" stage, and the "last chance" stage. The participants were divided into three groups of four squads for the group stage. All group stage matches will be played in BO1 format and in a double elimination system (any team will face the defeated one in a parallel game and have the possibility to continue in the bottom grid) for each group. At the end of the group stage, none of the teams will leave the tournament (BO1 healthy). It will only be a struggle to seed to the next stage. The next knockout stage is similar in structure to the playoff grid, but only three teams will leave the tournament at this stage, and three more will receive a quota for the next round. The remaining six teams will go on to the "last chance" stage, where the teams that occupy the remaining three slots will be determined. All second and third-stage matches will be played in BO3, single elimination.

The "last chance" stage has begun. Teams will fight for the last three tickets to the next league tournament. Losers will still have a chance to compete on the Showdown stage, but that's another story. A fascinating confrontation will finish the game, which will be a match - revenge because the rivals have already met within this tournament. Then, the game went hilarious: all players made stupid mistakes, and none of the three maps did not end with TO. Will G2 take revenge on Vitality and pick up their last ticket to the next round of the BLAST League?

G2: Is the New Roster a Mistake?

When we talk about the G2 team, we're talking about a new team again. And if the invitation of jks actually seems like a good decision and a strengthening of the roster, the elderly captain HooXi looks doubtful. On the one hand HooXi built a great game in the previous team. On the other hand he has players of a completely different level, and it is unknown whether he has the necessary credibility to be a leader now.

This tournament was the first for the new squad, and already here they showed their incompetence, taking the last place in the easiest group of the tournament. The new players have only shown themselves from the bad side, and did not strengthen the team in any way. We would like to believe that the whole problem is that there was not much time to prepare, and in time G2 will return to the top of the world arena. But, after the first games, we don't believe in HooXi at all. The team's losses were not due to anything. They played with weakened opponents and on handy maps, but were defeated because of poor play and paucity of tactical thought. Nevertheless, in the knock-out stage they were stronger than the Germans from BIG. However, that match was won by NiKo personally, who won all duels, grabbed all clutches and scored two open frags per round. But in the next match, he wasn't able to play as phenomenal and ended up losing. Will G2 be able to correct their mistakes today and take revenge? And the big question - will HooXi make more than two frags?

The last change in the line-up was the arrival of Rasmus HooXi Nielsen as captain. Also, an experienced Justin "jks" Savage joined the new lineup.

Best hltv rating - 3rd in the world. Now it's #14.

The best card is ancient, with a win rate of 100% for three maps played.

Vitality: Will they Hold the Advantage?

Vitality finished last season with very disappointing results. They didn't win any tournaments, and more often than not, they failed than played well. At the beginning of the new season they made a replacement, improving the team. ENCE star Spinx joined the squad. As expected he blended in well and gave the team the firepower it needed to compete with their opponents from around the world.

In this tournament the Vitality team shows a good level of play and performs confidently. They played well in the group and took the second place and started the second round of the knockout stage. There they defeated the team G2, although they approached the confrontation as the underdog. In the next match, they did not win the quota for the main event from the incredibly strong Natus Vincere. Whether Vitality will keep the advantage, earning the last ticket we will know very soon!

The last change in the lineup was the arrival of Lotan "Spinx" Giladi.

The best rating according to hltv was the 3rd in the world. Right now it's #7.

The best card is vertigo, with a win rate of 60% for 5 cards played.
