Natus Vincere vs Team Vitality: Match of the day

BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021 will feature five teams from the top ten of HLTV. It happened on Mirage, which may encourage the French to pick it. Especially when you consider that Mirage is the only map where Team Vitality surpasses Born to Win in terms of win rate. There are three Natus Vincere players in the tournament’s eight strongest players in terms of individual statistics. This is the highest representation among all the teams. Born to Win has the best overall team rating at the tournament, which is 1.17.

Natus Vincere has already had six matches in a row against the Frenchman Nuke. Given its 100% win rate, we should assume that this time the guys will stop on this map as well. However, I still believe that Team Vitality has an excellent chance to win on Nuke. The team has a good win rate. In their last face-off against Born to Win, the French lost by a score of 13-16. Because NaVi outnumbered their opponent almost twice in entree kills, and Team Vitality lost both pistol rounds, the French scored a very good number of rounds. If Team Vitality doesn’t lose both pistol rounds again and does a little better at the start of the rounds, they will have a good chance of winning.

Team Vitality showed an incredible will to win in their last match at BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2021. The French were 0-10 down at Dust2, losing at Inferno 3-9, but managed to turn the match around and pull out a win. Such a tough match should add confidence to the team and boost morale. We want to single out ZywOo, who finished with KD 84-53(+31). All the other teammates finished with a minus. The Frenchman began to remind himself of his old self when he didn’t need team support to win games. ZywOo is now the best in the tournament in terms of individual statistics. As far as maps are concerned, the French should give up the Dust2 pick, given that they have lost their last three face-offs on this map. Mirage still looks like a good option for the French pick. Team Vitality might want to play Inferno, which wouldn’t be a mistake. NaVi, the French defence is stronger than the NaVi attack on this map. Also, I can’t say that Inferno’s 80% win rate reflects NaVi’s real strength. Still, victories over EG, Faze, Heroic on this map don’t look as powerful as French victories over Gambit, NaVi, Team Liquid (before the collapse), and Astralis. 

Team Vitality won a very difficult match against Astralis. This victory will give the team confidence. In their last face-to-face match, the French put up very good resistance against Born to Win. Now they have a chance to play even better. The betting odds on Team Vitality are underestimating them, and they are offering odds of 3.80 to win. It’s clear that NaVi acts as a favourite, but it’s not worth missing out on such odds. On the French victory with a handicap (+9.5), bookmakers offer odds of 1.85, which looks like a good option. Alternatively, Team Vitality can win with a handicap (+1.5) at 1.90.
